Gibber's Do It OLD TOOL STYLE

Here is another GIBBS 3 project I made.
The phrase is : Gibber's Do It Old Tool Style

I used Smooch Spritz for the shimmer, viva decor pearl pen in copper, and brown stazOn ink for the stamped lettering. I didnt use ANY cricut in this whatsoever. I used stamps, MS punch, stickers, and OLD tools to make these for her and her family. I thought it'd be nice for her to use them on scrapbook pages or something of that sort.

Lily of the Valley Miss You

Here is a card I fell in love with after I finished making it! I hope you, too like it as much as I do! I got the stamped image from my friend Peachy. I sure love coloring with Prismacolor pencils! I keep hearing about all this copic talk, and I just dont think I can move away from these fun pencils! Let me know what you think!

Vacation soon and Brittany's birthday party pictures!

Hello to all of my followers! Today is just a post about my weekend and other thoughts. On Saturday my baby girl Brittany turned 1! We had a blast, and she got spoiled rotten! She devoured her cake, which you will see in the photos I post! This week, on Tuesday, my family and I will be going on vacation to Gurnee, IL and Chicago, IL. We will be going to Six Flags Great America, Hurricane Harbor, and the Legoland Museum! I am soooo excited! I get to meet Paula from the Cricut Messageboard again, only this time will be with her husband and son!
I also am soooo frustrated about my challenges not taking off like I had hoped, and I am STUCK on 159 followers! LOL! I am hoping to gain more followers soon! My goal by the end of the year is to have 200. I am hoping to accomplish that alot sooner, but we shall see!

Hangin Out with friends

I made this layout for my daughter's scrapbook that is WAAAAY behind. I hope you enjoy it! I had a lot of fun making it! This is from when she was in first grade. She is going into 3rd grade now! My goodness, how time flies! My daughter is the one with the yellow t-shirt under the black and white vest.

I used SU ribbon, MS butterfly stamps with StazOn ink, a making memories premade tag that has the saying "Hangin out with friends," and DCWV papers. I am unsure of the brand of pearls for embellies.

Challenges starting this week!

I took a poll a while back of what everyone thought of my posting challenges to get some creative juices flowing. Here is the plan:

I will post the sketch of the challenge, and another picture of my take on the challenge. Then you post links to your pictures of your take on the challenge. I will choose a winner of the challenge week by week. Once things pick up on here a bit, then I will start having goodies that people can win too!

I will be rotating a card challenge and layout challenge each week. That way we can get our card makers and scrapbookers all in on the fun! If you have any ideas to add- please let me know! I am open to ANY suggestions!!!

cards for some swaps

Hello to my fellow followers! I hope you all are having a great start to the week!

Here are some cards I made using my GYPSY!!! The first time I cut with it! I LOVE IT! So easy to use! I used Gypsy Wanderings on these cards. I also used my fiskars threading water punch, stickles, Colorbok Adhesive, Chipboard Tags, Stampin' Up! Stamp, some of the papers were DCWV, Cosmo Cricket, K & Co. and a few others I am unsure of the name brand. I used LOTS of scraps up with these cards! I am on a spending freeze, so I plan to use as much of what I have available, as I can! I hope to do well with what scraps I do have. Please tell me what you think!

Hello to my followers! Sorry it's been a while! I tried my heart out to post last night, but blogger was down. So, without further ado, here is my fun apron!

I got the apron at Hobby Lobby. The applique was bought at JoAnn's. I really like how it turned out! Tell me what you think!

Anyone else have this problem?

I have a Fiskars seal of approval punch- the 2 inch scallop circle, and had it for roughly two weeks... I emailed the corperation with this:

Hello to whom it may concern;



My name is Jennifer Young. I do a lot of crafting with your products, and just recently purchased a 2 inch seal of approval punch. I have had it for two weeks, and love it. My only problem is that now one of the handles is cracking, so even on the thinnest paper, it is very hard to punch. If I keep punching it, it will eventually crack all the way through. To pay $23.00 for something like that, I would expect it to last longer than 2 weeks. I no longer have the reciept from the store, and if I did, I opened it and used it, so they will not take it back. Please tell me there is something you can do on your end. I really would appreciate a prompt response. To see that I am an avid crafter, please visit my blog...
