Patriotic Stick Pins

Today's post is also for the Red, White, and Blue Swap I was in. I made my partner some very patriotic stick pins that she can use to decorate anything- including scrapbook pages! I really hope she likes them! She might get her package today!

Easter Topiary

Hello Everyone! I hope you all had a wonderfully blessed Easter! I know I did! It was a very fun filled weekend spent with many of my loved ones! Todays post is to show you the topiaries I made for my mother in laws as an Easter gift. They took me about a month to complete- but it was well worth it in the end. I got ideas from two other blogs. The complete topiary idea is from my friend Colleens blog. And the hibiscus flowers are from this awesome blog!
On with the photos!!!

I am really happy how they turned out- and would love your opinion!! Let me know what you think!

Baby Shower Diaper Cake

Today's post is to show the diaper cake I made for a friends baby shower. It goes with the centerpiece picture I posted yesterday. I know its slightly off kilter- but it is because I had all the diapers in a bag- not in a package. I am really happy with how the diaper cake turned out. I used rubber bands to secure the diapers. Then I took various types of ribbon to decorate the diaper cake. I used a bottle brush to hold the bottom two tiers together. I then added Johnson & Johnson Body Wash to adjoin the top two tiers together.

I used a baby hat and gloves to cover the center where you can see the body wash.

I hand made a headband for the baby. I used a flower I created from one of my daughters old shirts. I then added some stick pins I had in my stash to the bow. Please let me know what you think! Thanks for looking!

Newest Addiction Part 2

Today's post is more of my newest addiction. STICK PINS! I am really happy with how these turned out! I bought some old beaded necklaces and bracelets from my local thrift store, and seperated them. I am pretty happy with how they turned out. I even added tulle to on set of them. I decorated a shipping tag with my own glimmer mist to have a nice way to display these stick pins. Let me know what you think! Thanks for looking!
