2 Month Baby Girl Layout

Today's post is to show a layout I've done to add to the baby album I am working on for a friend of mine. She was due on Thursday, and the baby hasn't decided to come yet! We are anxiously waiting for Tatum Lynn to shine her face, but she is taking her sweet time!

I used Plantin Schoolbook for the font and numbers, and used 2 different Stampin' Up! Sizzix dies for the butterflies. I found a butterfly stamp to add a bit more butterflies around the layout. I added some bling to a few of the butterflies and some Prima Say it with Pearls to the layout itself. I used a Stampin' Up! tab punch on the photo mat to make the layout unique.

Please let me know what you think! Thanks for looking!

Happy Mother's Day!

Here is the Mother's Day card that I made for my mother. I handmade the flower using a Stampin' Up! Scallop circle punch. I will eventually make a video on how to make these. Super easy! I used a Stampin' Up! Sizzix Sizzlit to create the leaves, and two retired Stampin' Up! Stamps for the sentiment and images. These stamps were at the scrapbooking retreat I stayed at! Michelle's Memory Loft in La Porte Indiana is a real treasure! If anyone has the chance to go, please do! Reasonable prices, and just a gorgeous place to stay! Thanks for looking, and let me know what you think! Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's, grandmas, and mom's to be out there!!!

Happy Birthday Mo Digi

Hello everyone! I hope you all are having a fabulous week! Spring hit- and so did a snow storm here! YUCK! I am so ready for spring. This card I made using Mo's digi stamp. Isn't she cute? She is colored with prismacolor pencils using the gamsol technique. I had some embossed panels in my stash, along with some grosgrain ribbon. I hope you like her as much as I do! The little flowers are Recollections. I love these, and sad that Michael's has discontinued them! :( I bought them on clearance for $1.50! I should have bought more! Silly me. I used a SU stamp, and chalked the edges of the image and sentiment with cat's eye chalk ink.  I hope you enjoy the card! Let me know what you think! :)

Ready for Spring?

I dont know about you- but I enjoyed my winter- got to do alot of sledding, and even snowmobiling too! I am now ready for spring. Not the messy, muddy, thawing spring, but the sunny days, the budding flowers and trees, and the nice walks, bike riding, and warmer weather. My husband and I purchased a new bike and bike trailer to use over the spring, summer, and fall. With gas prices hiking around here, I'll be sure to use that more often... and I'll be able to incorperate weight loss too! Killing two birds with one stone is so much easier!

Today's post is showing some flowers I created. I always have fun making these flowers, and will post a video soon on how I make them. I did these differently than I normally do, so I could use up some beads that I had laying around. Please let me know what you think of these flowers! Have a great week!

Strawberry Birthday Card

Today's post is a card I made for my mother for her birthday. I have been wanting to use that cute strawberry from Indie Art, and found the perfect way to use it! I like to use the Mojo Monday Blog for ideas and some mojo. They never fail on giving me the mojo I need! :) Below is the picture of the sketch, and the photos of the card I made. HERE is the link to the post.

I used an SU punch and a computer generated sentiment on the front. The copper dots are Viva Decor Pearl Pen. Stampin Up! Hemp Twine was used in place of ribbon. I also used the Stampin Up top note die to make the beautiful light brown shape on the base. Used stickles to decorate the strawberry- but before that I ran it through my Sizzix Big Kick and the swiss dots embossing folder to emboss the strawberry. I also chalked the edges with Dark Brown Cat's Eye Chalk Ink! Please let me know what you think! Thanks! :)

Manly Sympathy Card

Hello everyone! Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a great weekend! If I werent fighting this nasty cold and lack of voice I'd be able to do a video for you all! Hopefully soon!
Today I'd like to show you a manly sympathy card I made for my husbands boss. His father died over the holidays. My husband asked me to make one for him and his co-workers. This card has alot of Tim Holtz elements to it. Sympathy cards are hard to make, but manly cards are even harder to make. I went with the "time will heal all" feel, which is the reason for the clocks and such. Please let me know what you think! Thank you and have a fabulous Tuesday!

Vintage/ Distressed Mini Album

This mini album was made for my partner Claudia on the Cricut Messageboard. I really am happy with how quickly I was able to make it! I made it in ONE DAY! Can you believe that?! I can't! LOL! I was on a roll, and just kept going! The more and more I look at it, the more and more I like it. I used a ton of different elements, and I hope my partner likes what I made. I used Tim Holtz stamps that my friend Peachy let me borrow. She is such a sweetheart! Thanks so much Peachy!  I used Distress Stickles, several stick pins I am unsure of the name brand. I used ribbon galore- I always fall for sheer. I think it makes projects look nicer and blend much better. I had some tim holtz tattered floral cuts from when I was in branson, along with the flourish on the front. I like how it gave the feel of the book. BEWARE: THERE ARE LOTS OF PICTURES TAKEN!!! There are so many details, and I wanted to catch as many as I could.
