Here is the Mother's Day card that I made for my mother. I handmade the flower using a Stampin' Up! Scallop circle punch. I will eventually make a video on how to make these. Super easy! I used a Stampin' Up! Sizzix Sizzlit to create the leaves, and two retired Stampin' Up! Stamps for the sentiment and images. These stamps were at the scrapbooking retreat I stayed at! Michelle's Memory Loft in La Porte Indiana is a real treasure! If anyone has the chance to go, please do! Reasonable prices, and just a gorgeous place to stay! Thanks for looking, and let me know what you think! Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's, grandmas, and mom's to be out there!!!

Happy Birthday Steph!
This card I made for a good friend of mine! I sure hope she likes it! Happy Birthday Steph!
I used a Stampin Up stamp for the sentiment, and a stamped image that was colored I got from Peachy! Thanks so much hun! :) I distressed the edge of the stamped image, and inked both stamped sentiment and image with timber brown Staz-On ink. I chalked the edges of the base of the card with VersaMagic Chalk ink.
Please let me know what you think!
Have a wonderful day!

Reminds me of Fall
Here is a card I made using a Whiff of Joy Stamped image. I got this gorgeous girl from my sweet friend Jessica! I can't thank her enough for sending me such adorable images to color! Thanks so much! I figured this could be used for a simple note card, or a thinking of you card. I used the ribbon because it reminded me of cooking- the pattern of the ribbon. I used a paisley background from a few swaps I participated in on the Cricut Messageboard. I chalked the pattern, chalked the edges of the image to tie the two colors together. I really like how it turned out. It reminds me of fall... not sure why... but it does...

Similar Children's Birthday Cards
This stamped image was from a stamped image swap. Cute little monkeys blowing bubbles... I thought, HEY! THIS WOULD BE CA-UTE FOR A CHILD BIRTHDAY CARD! So, I took that idea, and ran with it! I had some bright colored embossed card front panels. Number Collage and Happy Birthday Cuttlebug folders were used on these, along with a Stampin Up! stamp. I used Prismacolor Pencils to color the image, using the gamsol technique. I hope you like them as much as I do! Comments are great to let me know what you think!
Thanks for looking!

Another Christmas Card
Here is another Christmas card that I made with non-traditional colors. This was colored with Prismacolor pencils, using the Gamsol Technique. I brightened up a few spots with doodle dots using the white sakura gel pen. I used a bit of stickles to add some pop, divine swirls embossing folder on the backround, and sheer ribbon as well! Please tell me what you think! Enjoy!

Very Merry Card
Here is another card I made to sell at my upcoming craft shows. I really like how this one turned out. This image is a Magnolia Tilda image. I am unsure who I got this image from, because I did get a few images from a few different people. I hope I did them justice on this card! Let me know what you think!

Here is the fun Christmas card I made:
I got this adorable stamped image from my friend Jessica. Thanks so much Jessica! I had a few embossed panels left, so I thought this meshed well with the stamped image. What do you think?

Cards Galore!
Hello my fellow followers! I have been pumping cards out like crazy in hopes to sell at a local farmers market! I have hit a slump on Wednesday and Thursday. These darn allergies take alot out of me! Anyway- back to showing a card a day. I will be throwing in a few swaps that I have participated in, here and there. Please let me know what you think! If you are interested in ordering any cards from me- I am happy to accomodate anyone! Email me at youngsscrapping@gmail.com
On to the card for today...
I have TONS of embossed cardstock ready to go, so all I've been doing is coloring an image, decorating the card up to make it sellable... I am excited and ready for fall... so that's why I showed this cute little witch! :)

cards for some swaps
Hello to my fellow followers! I hope you all are having a great start to the week!
Here are some cards I made using my GYPSY!!! The first time I cut with it! I LOVE IT! So easy to use! I used Gypsy Wanderings on these cards. I also used my fiskars threading water punch, stickles, Colorbok Adhesive, Chipboard Tags, Stampin' Up! Stamp, some of the papers were DCWV, Cosmo Cricket, K & Co. and a few others I am unsure of the name brand. I used LOTS of scraps up with these cards! I am on a spending freeze, so I plan to use as much of what I have available, as I can! I hope to do well with what scraps I do have. Please tell me what you think!

Congratulations Card
Hello everyone! Happy Monday to you all! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! Did anyone do anything to celebrate National Scrapbooking Day on May 1st? I watched the Ustream that Megan from Above Rubies Studio put on! She has lotsa giveaways going on! Make sure to comment on the correct posts by clicking HERE. You have until Tuesday!
Well, on to the Congratulations card...
I had browsed through Mojo Monday's blog, and went with one of their card layouts for this one. I am sorry I don't have the direct link to the layout. I got some patterned paisley like paper from Hobby Lobby (on sale of course!) , and cut it into blocks and layered it on top of some brown recollections card stock, and layered that on top of a navy blue cardstock. I am unsure of the make on that one. I added stickles, chalked the edges, stamped the sentiment and voila! I got the butterfly by stamping it on the patterned paper, cutting it out and putting it on another card stock to make it sturdy. I added stickles to that as well to dress it up. I really like the effect I got! I hope you all did too!
