Rock Sensation

Hello everyone! I am here reporting from LaPorte Indiana at a crop house called Michelle's Memory Loft! This place is amazing! What a hidden gem! I have completed 3 scrapbook layouts since yesterday, and am pretty pleased with the great ideas and feedback coming from the ladies here. Today's post is to show you the first scrapbook page I made using the Hannah Montana Cricut cartridge. My daughter competed in an air guitar contest in 2008. She didnt win, but I sure had fun watching her and the other competitors! Here is the completed layout of that night.

I would love to hear what you think! Please let me know! Thanks! Have a happy Thursday!

Easter Topiary

Hello Everyone! I hope you all had a wonderfully blessed Easter! I know I did! It was a very fun filled weekend spent with many of my loved ones! Todays post is to show you the topiaries I made for my mother in laws as an Easter gift. They took me about a month to complete- but it was well worth it in the end. I got ideas from two other blogs. The complete topiary idea is from my friend Colleens blog. And the hibiscus flowers are from this awesome blog!
On with the photos!!!

I am really happy how they turned out- and would love your opinion!! Let me know what you think!

Think Spring

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend!

Todays post is showing some wooden tulips that I altered to make a cute spring decoration. I used Tim Holtz crackle paint to cover the tulips. I sanded the edges to give it a worn look, added some Prima Say it with Pearls, SU pearls, and a little sentiment banner to finish it off. Tell me what you think! Does it get you "Spring inspired?"

COMMENTS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED! :)

Newest Addiction Part 2

Today's post is more of my newest addiction. STICK PINS! I am really happy with how these turned out! I bought some old beaded necklaces and bracelets from my local thrift store, and seperated them. I am pretty happy with how they turned out. I even added tulle to on set of them. I decorated a shipping tag with my own glimmer mist to have a nice way to display these stick pins. Let me know what you think! Thanks for looking!

Ready for Spring?

I dont know about you- but I enjoyed my winter- got to do alot of sledding, and even snowmobiling too! I am now ready for spring. Not the messy, muddy, thawing spring, but the sunny days, the budding flowers and trees, and the nice walks, bike riding, and warmer weather. My husband and I purchased a new bike and bike trailer to use over the spring, summer, and fall. With gas prices hiking around here, I'll be sure to use that more often... and I'll be able to incorperate weight loss too! Killing two birds with one stone is so much easier!

Today's post is showing some flowers I created. I always have fun making these flowers, and will post a video soon on how I make them. I did these differently than I normally do, so I could use up some beads that I had laying around. Please let me know what you think of these flowers! Have a great week!

Happy Birthday Card for Nathan

Here is a card I made for my brother for his birthday. Hopefully he doesnt see this, as he hasnt gotten his card yet! It will be mailed today...

I used the Tim Holtz Patchwork embossing folder. Did lots of distressing, added some sheer ribbon, a heat embossed Happy Birthday Sentiment using part of a SU stamp. I used a Tim Holtz Trinket pin that says Treasure on it. I really like those pins. I need to get myself some more of them. This card was simple- but only becaue I didnt know what else to add for a man.

Happy Birthday Nathan!

Please let me know what you think! I love comments!

Manly Sympathy Card

Hello everyone! Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a great weekend! If I werent fighting this nasty cold and lack of voice I'd be able to do a video for you all! Hopefully soon!
Today I'd like to show you a manly sympathy card I made for my husbands boss. His father died over the holidays. My husband asked me to make one for him and his co-workers. This card has alot of Tim Holtz elements to it. Sympathy cards are hard to make, but manly cards are even harder to make. I went with the "time will heal all" feel, which is the reason for the clocks and such. Please let me know what you think! Thank you and have a fabulous Tuesday!

Tree Ornament

I used SU papers for this project, and my scalloped circle nestabilities.I have to say this is not my original idea- this came from the Little Blue House Blog. They had a 12 days of ornaments run, and this one was one of my favorites. HERE is where you can find the instructions for this.
I created this ornament for my partner Peachy in the GIBBS 5 swap on the Cricut Messageboard.
Thanks for stopping by! Please let me know what you think! Have a fabulous weekend!

Vintage/ Distressed Mini Album

This mini album was made for my partner Claudia on the Cricut Messageboard. I really am happy with how quickly I was able to make it! I made it in ONE DAY! Can you believe that?! I can't! LOL! I was on a roll, and just kept going! The more and more I look at it, the more and more I like it. I used a ton of different elements, and I hope my partner likes what I made. I used Tim Holtz stamps that my friend Peachy let me borrow. She is such a sweetheart! Thanks so much Peachy!  I used Distress Stickles, several stick pins I am unsure of the name brand. I used ribbon galore- I always fall for sheer. I think it makes projects look nicer and blend much better. I had some tim holtz tattered floral cuts from when I was in branson, along with the flourish on the front. I like how it gave the feel of the book. BEWARE: THERE ARE LOTS OF PICTURES TAKEN!!! There are so many details, and I wanted to catch as many as I could.

Please leave a comment, and let me know what you think! Thanks a bunch!
