MOMMY AND ME HOLIDAY- BLOG HOP!!! WIN A STAMP SET!
This blog hop is all about making your own holiday! Last year My oldest daughter and I spent a day in Chicago together for mommy and me time, along with her birthday! :) It was a fun day of shopping, going to Build-A-Bear, staying at a hotel, swimming, and enjoying eating out without any interruptions! :)
The project I chose for this hop was a layout. These photos were taken about 5 years ago, and it was another day that was all about mommy and me, we had fun together for the day, and played with the webcam. This is what was created! I used Recollection flowers, Prima Flowers, SU pearls, spellbinders ovals to cut the journal tag, the mini flowers are recollection, and the cardstock is Moxxie. I love this line- but am limited to my stash, and wanted to use it for a special layout. I thought this was the perfect for it!

BLOG HOP STARTING TOMORROW!!!
Blog Hop This Weekend
March 26-27, 2011
Theme: Make Up Your Own Holiday
Theme: Make Up Your Own Holiday
MY HOLIDAY IS:
MOMMY AND ME DAY
Hop begins at 12:01 AM EST Saturday, March 26
Hop ends 11:59 PM EST Sunday, March 27
Karelj is offering an over-all blog candy for those who are hopping along with us. She thought it would be fun to have some holiday-themed candy for this hop--but, of course, made-up holiday items were hard to come by! She decided to do a whole bunch of *regular* holiday themed stamps for you to enjoy.
Fiskars- an assorted holiday set
All Night Media- an alphabet set
Family Memories- a set of 100 plus clear stamps AND a storage case
5 sets of clear stamps from various dollar bins in big box stores
How can YOU win them?
Follow along the blog trail, leaving a comment on each and every blog. On Monday, Karelj will ask her buddy Randy (random.org) to select a blog number (from the list), a day (Saturday is one, Sunday is two), and a comment number from that blog. Please make sure you have left a reliable way to contact you (email is best, in the safe format of **** at **** dot com ) so you can be notified by her personally. If you don't, she’ll have to select another winner.
What will you win from me?

Happy Birthday Mo Digi
Hello everyone! I hope you all are having a fabulous week! Spring hit- and so did a snow storm here! YUCK! I am so ready for spring. This card I made using Mo's digi stamp. Isn't she cute? She is colored with prismacolor pencils using the gamsol technique. I had some embossed panels in my stash, along with some grosgrain ribbon. I hope you like her as much as I do! The little flowers are Recollections. I love these, and sad that Michael's has discontinued them! :( I bought them on clearance for $1.50! I should have bought more! Silly me. I used a SU stamp, and chalked the edges of the image and sentiment with cat's eye chalk ink. I hope you enjoy the card! Let me know what you think! :)

Think Spring
Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend!
Todays post is showing some wooden tulips that I altered to make a cute spring decoration. I used Tim Holtz crackle paint to cover the tulips. I sanded the edges to give it a worn look, added some Prima Say it with Pearls, SU pearls, and a little sentiment banner to finish it off. Tell me what you think! Does it get you "Spring inspired?"

Newest Addiction Part 2
Today's post is more of my newest addiction. STICK PINS! I am really happy with how these turned out! I bought some old beaded necklaces and bracelets from my local thrift store, and seperated them. I am pretty happy with how they turned out. I even added tulle to on set of them. I decorated a shipping tag with my own glimmer mist to have a nice way to display these stick pins. Let me know what you think! Thanks for looking!

Happy Birthday Brother in Law!
Today's post is not the springy posts I've been posting this week. Today's post is a card I made for my brother in law. I used an ATC card from a swap I was in. This beautiful ATC card was made by Tammy Reidy. I thought it was perfect for a male inspired birthday card. I used ribbon from my stash, and the stamped sentiment is from a Stampin Up set. I also had some embossed card panels in my stash for the base. I made this card for my brother in law, Kevin. He and my sister are enjoying themselved in Las Vegas right now!!! I told them to stuff me in their suitcases! They didnt like that idea! HAHA! Have a Happy Hump Day everyone!

Handmade spiral roses
Today's post shows the fun flowers I made for a friend of mine. They are easy to make, and fun too! :) I used my homemade glimmer mist to add some shimmer to these beauties.

Ready for Spring?
I dont know about you- but I enjoyed my winter- got to do alot of sledding, and even snowmobiling too! I am now ready for spring. Not the messy, muddy, thawing spring, but the sunny days, the budding flowers and trees, and the nice walks, bike riding, and warmer weather. My husband and I purchased a new bike and bike trailer to use over the spring, summer, and fall. With gas prices hiking around here, I'll be sure to use that more often... and I'll be able to incorperate weight loss too! Killing two birds with one stone is so much easier!
Today's post is showing some flowers I created. I always have fun making these flowers, and will post a video soon on how I make them. I did these differently than I normally do, so I could use up some beads that I had laying around. Please let me know what you think of these flowers! Have a great week!

With heartfelt thanks
I made this card using the doily cut on the Wild Card Cartridge. Its a great thank you card! I added some primas, a button, some hemp twine, and a bit of viva decor to dress it up. I like its simplicity. The sentiment was used from some vellum stickers I had from a card pack. Please let me know what you think! Thanks for looking!
